Wilderness Investigations Teacher Workshop
Wilderness Investigations is a teacher workshop directed towards upper elementary and middle school teachers (but open to all). Experience lessons and activities from the Wilderness Investigations Toolkit, start building your own WI Toolkit, and become a WI Teacher with access to online trainings & materials.
This workshop will be led by Steven Archibald from the Arthur Carhart National Wilderness Training Center, and is supported locally by the Stokes Nature Center and the Utah Society for Environmental Education.
The WI workshop materials are correlated to National Standards as well as the Utah Core Curriculum (for 5th - 8th grades).
When:
Friday, April 13th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm and
Saturday, April 14th from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Where:
The Friday session will be held at Greenville Elementary, and the Saturday session at the Stokes Nature Center.
