SNC Membership

For 14 years, Stokes Nature Center (SNC) has been the primary source of nature education in Cache Valley. Our programs serve more than 8,000 people each year, reaching public schools, homeschool families, scouts, students, volunteers and a diverse community. Our year-round program schedule enables us to reach out to an audience who might otherwise not be exposed to environmental education in an engaging way. We offer our programs at a fraction of their actual cost in order to provide an affordable experience to all. The only way we can do this is through the generous support of SNC members and contributors.

We invite you to become a member today and to help us continue to pursue our mission. SNC works diligently to expand programming and empower the community to understand and appreciate our beautiful and unique surroundings.

Many of our patrons are choosing to participate in our Monthly Contributor Program. For an average of $3.75 per month (for a Family membership) you can support environmental education in Cache Valley and enjoy all the benefits of membership. Monthly Contributor Program
Add your name to the growing list of monthly contributors and help maintain SNC monthly. Full SNC membership benefits apply, and you'll have the added satisfaction of knowing that your monthly donation helps SNC feel financially secure in our everyday operations. Donations will be automatically withdrawn from the account of your choice each month. Choose your own level of giving. SNC will provide you with a year end report. Donations to Stokes Nature Center are tax deductible.

As a member, we will keep you up-to-date about SNC through our newsletter, "The Dipper." Weekly program announcements arrive through the electronic "Bird Call." Your membership entitles you to discounts on most programs and merchandise. Although there is no admission price to SNC, your membership will give you free admission to many other nature centers nationwide, including Ogden Nature Center. You will also receive a free program coupon for one of Stokes Nature Center's community programs.

Your $30 contribution buys 15 minutes of outreach demonstration and instruction at a Cache Valley school. SNC regularly leads 2 hour programs on geology, the solar system, weather, animal and plant adaptations and much more.

Your $50 contribution buys a full day Stokes Field Expedition program for a Cache Valley student. Some of our students have previously only experienced Logan Canyon through a car window!

Your $100 contribution allows a roomful of tots to enjoy a 1.5 hour music and exploration program on a specific nature theme.
