Staff Bio: Jessica Welsh

Jessica Welsh hails from northeast Ohio. She attended Unity College in Maine where she earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Education. She has several years of teaching experience, one in which she created and implemented a Nature program for her senior internship at a YMCA camp in Maine.  She has also enjoyed being an assistant teacher for an  after school program as well as a summer camp program assistant.. The past two years have been her most rewarding teaching experience working as a field instructor intern as well as an administrative intern at Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park in northeast Ohio. Although Jessica loves teaching and working with children she also enjoys reading, playing music, hiking and camping.
