Stokes Nature Center is a 501(c)(3), charitable organization which works to educate our area's children and develop appreciationship and stewardship for our natural world. As a permitte of the Cache National Forest for education programs, our lessons start right here in northern Utah. Our programs serve more than 5000 area children every year, specialize in standard's based curricula! What does it mean to be a Stokes Nature Center member? It means that: • You support the SNC mission to provide opportunities for students of all ages to explore, learn about, and develop appreciation and stewardship for our natural world. • You are taking an active role in providing nature education opportunities in Cache Valley and are helping SNC to continue to offer programs at a fraction of their actual cost. • You want to take advantage of discounts for programs, retail items, and special events. • You enjoy receiving The Dipper, which keeps you up-to-date with what’s happening with SNC staff, volunteers, board members, and programming. All members receive discounts on most programs, birthday parties, and facility rentals, 10% off all purchases in our gift shop, and access to upcoming events and happenings through our quarterly newsletter, The Dipper. Your membership and donations helps us maintain the programs of the nature center! As a Stokes Nature Center member you are entitled to discounted merchandise and/or free admission to participating nature centers nationwide.
